Smile I am Awake

I am not a Buddhist, nor do I take part in any religions. I have found my spirituality through *ahem* I should most likely say no more. But, I have always enjoyed this saying, and maybe it will strike a spark in one's reality. Please excuse the paraphrasing of it, but I think some will enjoy this

---

It is said that soon after his enlightenment the Buddha passed a man on the road who was struck by the Buddha's extraordinary radiance and peaceful presence.

My friend, what are you? Are you a celestial being or a god?

"No."

Well, then, are you some kind of magician or wizard?

"No."

Are you a man?

"No."

Well, my friend, then what are you?

"I AM AWAKE."

---
I would now quote some equally wise people who "get it," but the point is made and it is a beautiful one. We are one and I love you all.
