Combine this from G
I often feel a "knot" in my stomach.
It's hard to turn my mind off when I want to relax.
I occasionally experience feelings of panic for no reason.
I often use alcohol or other sedatives to calm down.

and this from N
I suffer from a lack of energy.
I often find it difficult to "get going."
I suffer from decreased drive.
I often start projects and then don't finish them.
I frequently feel a need to sleep or "hibernate."

and throw in two S
It's hard for me to go to sleep.
I can't stay asleep.

I think the sleep part comes from the combination of the others though so serotonin doesn't actually apply. I don't think my body has any problems with serotonin and melatonin despite doctors always concentrating on those. I bounce back and forth between must do something, need physical activity or multiple mental activities at once and need to do nothing but my brain won't stop enough to relax so that it can do nothing unless it is pushed to do a lot of something. The past 2 days I got up at 9 am, rode my bike, shoveled the stable, went fishing (my butt hurts from sitting on rocks), and went hiking until it got dark. Today is sleepy day. If I get proper exercise to keep my brain happy one day a week is sleepy day where I don't leave bed except to pee and maybe get a drink if I can't convince my husband to and I haven't stored enough up in my corner.

Edit: Except for there apparently is no evidence that SAMe is safe. Oh, crap.

I imagine if it's naturally occuring, it should be safe. And Dr.Oz recommends it.

Which is weird, because NE-heavy drugs leave me feeling anxious as hell and feeling like death. Seems that D+S always provided the best solution.

And I don't want to stir up any controversy, but people who heavily associate with the dopamine side likely are either suffering from confirmation bias or are suffering from something else entirely, and likely more severe (granted, it doesn't rule out a simultaneous SA Dx).
