I like whole wheat bread, bagels, and English muffins (the latter two are good with peanut butter!). I made the switch to whole wheat from white a long time ago... back in my teens, at least.

The way I see it, if one is going to eat any type of bread it should be whole grain. I also just like the taste of wheat bread better.

I was a bit confused myself. Here (Canadian Maritimes), brown bread is a bread made with molasses, but I think you're referring to what I would call whole wheat bread. White bread is still white, though. I like a homemade white bread, but the commercial stuff is like a salty dust cake. So, if I were choosing at the store, and had the options of white or whole wheat, I'd prefer whole wheat. But my usual purchases would be brown bread or "ancient grains" bread. So, there you go.

I also enjoy naan, English muffins with peanut butter, and especially Montreal-style bagels.

I actually have no idea. I've seen brown bread, but I don't think it's the same as wheat. I could be wrong, though.
