Cool Hundred or Hunerdt?

Do you say Hundred or Hunerdt?

In the Western USA where I am a lot of people say 'hunerdt' and it drives me crazy.

Like "I paid a 'hunerdt' dollars for these shoes."

Really? I live in South Carolina & I rarely hear it. The town I live in is Pelzer though so maybe a part of SC has something to do with it.

What! I grew up in Easley!

(As for "hunerdt," I remember hearing it, but maybe not as often as I though. I dunno. I think it just stuck in my head because it sounds so weird.)

I think your brain process speech differently from the rest of the world, because I never heard of hunerdt.

Ah :P. I've been to Easley a couple of times. I stayed in the car the whole time we were riding around in that area though so I never really heard people talk.

Never heard hunerdt, but around here lots of people say "batree" instead of battery. Drives me up the wall.
