I'm trying not to think about it too much, so usually it's 1. Sometimes though it can be 5 or 7. But, I'm kinda confident with myself nowadays.

If a person truly doesn't care about what others think, I don't think that person would have social anxiety.

5, it depends on my mood and who the person is. If it's someone I respect or like I care a lot, if it's someone I don't I couldn't care less

Well, I specifically said strangers only! I definitely care A LOT what my professors and peers and family think of me. Strangers? Not so much.

FYI, SA doesn't affect everyone the same way. For some people, strangers aren't a big deal, while with other people, it is.

I don't really care what people care what people think how I look because I've had years of negative bombardment of being too fat, wears glasses, etc. I think it's part of my manic depression.

Everyone, way too much. The thought of someone thinking negatively about me makes me feel incredibly awful.

I'm posting because I just realized how much this affects me. I was walking home tonight and this guy in this huge delivery-like truck pulls up and is all hey baby don't you want to come in and have a good time etc . He follows me for maybe a block and a half, still asking. I ignore him, and he finally starts cussing me out and calling me every name in the book for another block because I won't get in his truck for this advertised amazing time.

I can't get this out of my head. I feel bad. I feel bad because I made this guy unhappy. I'm certain he forgot about me two blocks down the street, but I still am focusing on the fact for at least a split second, he was really pissed off at me. I know I know to make him happy I would have had to jump in his truck, and no, I do not want to do that and never would. But the fact remains I still feel bad that this random horny stranger thought negatively of me when I didn't.

Twisted, no?
