I said 5. And I don't stay healthy. But I'm going thru some crap right now that I brought on myself and it's getting better. Last night I got over 6. With my usual 1.5 hour pee break.
Sleep is so important. I never thought I'd be in this situation again. Before any of you commit emotionally to someone or something, please make sure it's a healthy choice.
I usually get between 6 or 7 hours of sleep, but I voted 7 because thats usually how much time I give myself to sleep, or at least attempt to.
I need my sleep, the less sleep I get the crankier and lazier I get when I wake up. Totally messes up my day.
As for power naps, those don't usually help me. I wake up more tired than I was when I took a nap. My naps are usually 2 - 3 hours, but I try avoiding those when I can. In my psychology class, I think I learned that napping for more than 30 minutes throws off your biological clock a bit, and messes with your REM sleep.
6-10 mostly because I can't think of too much else to do at night.
I try for 11pm to 7am, but even then I'm usually up and ready to go at 5, and I don't have to be at work until 9:55am, and it seems like no matter what time I go to sleep I'm up by 9am. I don't like waking up after 8am, then I feel like I've wasted the whole day.
4-5 hours. I end up falling asleep, watching TV, in my recliner. Rarely I go to my bed after I wake up from my chair, but it hasen't been slept in for a while.
and theres your insomnia problem which i suspect a lot of these insomnia 'sufferers' do too. how do you expect a body that has slept to get more sleep?
I've been averaging about three hours a night lately; I haven't really been able to sleep. I can't comprehend how people can sleep during the day; I hate naps. My lack of sleep probably explains why I've been sick for the past two weeks.
I go to bed 7 hours before I have to wake up but it takes me awhile to fall asleep so it's really more like 6 hours of actual sleeping. I make up for it on the weekends though. :lol
