No, but have thought one would be nice while kayaking or exploring. One time while kayaking on a bay I lost track of my launch location on the shore and headed quite a ways off course. Ended up having a lot of extra paddling

Yep, i have a sat nav and a GPS enabled phone. My sense of direction is terrible, i'd find my way eventually but it'd take a lot longer...

Nope, lol I'm paranoid they might be tracking me with a GPS...the satellite knows where you are at any given moment :S..argh, I watch to many crime shows...

I have a couple of GPS (aside from Google Maps) apps on my iPhone rather than a dedicated device. They are not bad - which is just as well because I am terrible with directions

No. And if I ever buy one, it will only be for the purposes of looking up restaurants/stores in unfamiliar areas (although given my experience riding with my parents as they attempt to use their Garmin for this purpose, I question their usefulness even for that). I prefer to be able to visualize where I am and where I'm going, rather than blindly relying on a gadget to spit street names out at me. Just the way I roll.
