Default "Your eyes are crooked and you're going to be fat"

My younger sister told this to me recently. She was joking (we pretend argue a lot), but that really hurt. Because I know there's some truth to it, it's true that my eyes are crooked and now I know for sure that it's noticeable if my sister is bringing it up. And I've been putting on weight recently when I used to be stick thin, so that makes me even more self-conscious.

I've been feeling really down and depressed about this, even though it was a joke, this time it was just not funny. What can I do to bring my self-confidence back up?

Strong username to post content correlation ratio.

Ok jokes aside, go to a gym or outside in your backyard and sprint like crazy everyday until you are drenched in sweat. Throw out all the junk food, sodas, juices, etc. and start eating clean and healthy. That should solve your bodyfat content issue if you have any issue with that.

As for crooked eyes I'm not sure what you're talkin 'bout.

Wow that's mean. But seriously if you know it was a joke, why be mad? Turn that anger and depression into motivation. Hit up a gym or eat healthy. And about crooked eyes, Boone's faces are perfectly symmetrical. If your face is, you are a model or an actor. Don't let your Kitty Bitty "flaws" which aren't even flaws put you down. Not gonna lie though your username making me hungry. That might be an obstacle. I love cookie dough ice cream!

Don't beat yourself up over it. I'm sure you have some really good qualities about yourself that far out weigh it. Maybe it's not really that bad? Nobody is ever going to be perfect.

Years ago my brother got mad at my sister and called her a "bug eyed *****". I don't know if either remember that but it just sounded extremely hurtful.

Haha, yeah, I noticed that once I reread my post.

Thank you, I have been trying to stop eating junk food. I'm not sure how I can work out feeling comfortable though, I always feel like everyone is watching me when I work out at gyms (not that that's any excuse but it will be hard to do).

One of my eyes is smaller than the other and the eyelid droops, it's odd-looking. :/

Ok first thing is that most people who go to the gym are also insecure. Yes this is a FACT. Many bodybuilders and muscle bound guys go there because they were bullied a lot as a kid and this is sort of a personal form of "getting back" for them. So they won't judge you. Only time they would judge you s if you are trying to lose bodyfat and doing very slow, useless cardio that doesn't make you sweat.. and that would be because slow cardio is useless for losing bodyfat content. (that's why I recommend sprints and high intensity cardio like jumping rope 1000 times once you can get up to that number)

And if they do give you weird looks, just ignore them, focus your eyes on the speed dial on the treadmill while your are sprinting and have the music blast away so you can't hear anything else. Most people I see at the gym work out this way. They are completely "in the zone" and bent on self improvement. Go in with this mindset and don't mind what others are thinking. If they think badly of you for being brave and stepping out of your comfort zone, give them a gigantic middle finger for me, will yah?

As for the eyes I'm not sure what to say unless you show me a picture, but I don't think most people have perfectly symmetrical eyes anyways.
