Social Anxiety Support

I'm just coming off a very frustrating experience. There's a guy that I really like at my college, but I just can't start a coversation with him. I had a great chance to talk to him and another guy who is also in my classes, but I blew it. This is soo frustrating, but I'm just too afraid that I won't know what to say after I start talking to people because it has happened before. What do I do? How do I fix this?

I'm in this exact same situation but with a girl. It really depresses me. I don't know how to deal with it though.

ugh I wish we knew Cool SAD Sufferer...I'm 21 years old I should be able to have fun talking to guys. It does feel like life is passing me by in this area. If only I weren't so afraid and knew what to say...

I think a large percentage of the single folks on this board admire someone from afar. You are not alone.
