But that's over now. I think part of my frustration has to do with the girl I am infatuated with. I know others here have tried to tell me to ignore her, to get over it, to look at other girls. But its difficult. Especially since for some reason this girl who told me she was a (take a wild guess) dresses to really catches my eye, and talks to me. Its hard not to imagine her as a partner. This reminds me of a situation in high school, where this other girl I had liked didn't want to date for reasons I just don't get. Our families were well aquianted, we shared the same religion, and she had no bf at the time. Why for once in my life, can't the woman I feel chemistry with actually be available ? When people talk about the numbers game, do they mean that you must actually go out with women you don't like ? Why should I Vincymon waste time going out with a girl who does not like sciences, does not appreciate painting, and does not listen to similar music as I. What are we supposed to spend that date doing ? talking about the weather ? I hate the numbers game because its boring. It involves wasting 5 hours pretending to like a girl whom I don't. |

Even if you were to hook up what happens when she finds out that you have no social life?

Heh, this is another reason I don't have a girlfriend. Every time I see someone I really like, in the way they look physically and how they are as a person I just know it will never be. They are never interested in me, never. My below average looks coupled with my crappy personality make it just a wild dream. That is what I am...a dreamer.

And besides, if I actually had a woman to take out, I would feel more inclined to go out. Being the 5th wheel with two of your friends and their girlfriends, isn't always that fun. Sometimes I feel like my friends' girlfriends treat me more like a cuddly teddy bear than an actual possible sexual interest .. which gets annoying. |

Three words: Get over her! Why would you be infatuated with someone who is not back? Or even not willing to get to know you? I would take your friends suggestions more seriously and move on.
