Default Social Anxiety and Money?

Does your Social Anxiety affect how much money you have/save, make, or want to make?

Is anyone broke?

Is anyone financially comfortable?

I make about $9 an hour 40 hours a week.

I tend to hoard money, cause I don't really have anything to spend it on. I have about $2,000 in savings right now.

I was financially secure. But I lost my job about a month ago and haven't been able to find another one :/.

That's decent....i think my financial situation buggs me even more than my relationship status.

At my age (24) my financial situation is way more important than a relationship...I need to get on my feet first...A relationship will follow...Once girls get the hint that you have some money they become leeches!

For better or for worse!

Yes, because I'm unable to work.

Is anyone broke?

Is anyone financially comfortable?

No to both...I'm okay, but it's only because I live with my parents and am on SSI.

I think the apathy serves more to deter me from getting a job, rather than the anxiety.

I hoard money, but not because I have nothing to spend it on. I live probably a lower quality of life than welfare recipients. I've got enough stashed away to live on for a few years if I had to, but not the rest of my life so it's not enough.

The worry over getting fired keeps me hoarding. Surely, one day I'll have to settle for a lower lot in life. They expect social ability here that I don't have, can't get and probably wouldn't even want.

I hate the game. Sacrifice your time in nerve racking conditions, sacrifice the best years of your life, for money. The clock's ticking already. One of these days I'll be too old and broken down to handle this kind of stress and will either be forced out or go out on disability.

Holding on and hoarding on. Most people with this money would have good things and live it up. That's because they're pretty sure it'll keep rolling in. I am certain that it won't.

Yes,it affects me greatly. No doubt I would have a much better job if didn't have SA. It controls my life. I'm fairly comfortable though, and should be for many more years. I may not have a very good job,but I stash at least $200 away each week living with my parents

is lower than minimum loan but i will FEEL good/safe inside again.

i have no high expectations or whatsoever.

Some people save better than others...At least if you have some money saved up that can help with SA since you have more options on things you can do...If you are broke with SA you can't do a whole lot...If you have some money saved up a least you can attempt to go out and socialize more without stressing about money so much...

Yes,anyone who lives at home with an insecure future,I'd say it's extremely important to save as much as possible

Yes. I'm unable to get a job because of SA... I've only gotten an interview a few times after applying to places on and off again for years. I've never gotten hired...

I'm so broke, I pay the bank to keep my money (or their money since I have a negative balance). Anyone's whose read my past posts knows that I'm waaaaayyyyyyyyyy beyond broke. I haven't had a job in over 3 years. I'm going to default on my student loans later this year (FU Sallie Mae) unless I start making some cash soon. SA severely hinders my ability to make money. I have no references to use to get a job nor any network to use to look for one. If I get called for an interview, I'm probably not going to pass the BFF routine known as the interview.

This, so much this. I lost my job when I lost the confidence to leave my home, and before this job I was sanctioned from income support for not getting along with my employment advisor. As a result I'm now broke and fully family dependant. It feels horrible, but I'm so grateful for their support right now.
