Default no one wants to talk to me?

Some days when I'm feeling down (like today), I think no one wants anything to do with me because I tend to be negative a lot.

Sort of makes me think I'm worthless in a sense, because of the no contact.
Even the people I trust the most, I sometimes doubt if they're genuinely care about me, or just being nice or something...

I don't talk to anyone in person, and my contact list only has people I talk to rarely, or people that I just talk to once, but never bother removing...

Maybe its all in my head...

It is in your head. You just need to remind yourself that the people in your life do really care about you. When you're down, you tend to think illogically. Fight those thoughts.

I'd definitely agree with Laura. When I get depressed, I have the tendency to dwell on it and reinforce it, but it's exaggerated. I've gotten to the point where I can recognize when I'm just digging myself deeper into a hole, and I end up laughing about it. The truth is that when you are feeling down, there's a part of you that wallows in your own misery. Fight it, laugh at it, and challenge yourself to find some way to move on.

How would people on your contact list know how you were doing? Do you have a webcam on that thing?

It's the twistiness of depression.

Turkojan: I know how you're feeling. I have spent weeks (or perhaps months) feeling no one actually cares and their freindship is a facade. I have had a few freinds drift away from me in recent times, which has made me more suspicious and inable to trust people. I am quite negative and this might show to some close to me, but how could i feel like this for so long?! its not as if im in a constant bad mood; even on good days i feel this way. Sory im not helping here, im just venting my own frustration at my life

I feel that way with my friends on facebook. I don't have any real friends I can talk to &, even though some of my online friends talk to me when I'm feeling decent, once I'm in a bad mood, no one wants anything to do with me. It sucks, because I "listen" to people when they're having problems, but no one listens to me. When I'm terrified for my mom or for my future, no one wants to listen to me talk about it.

friend - online friend
IF only you could sense how important you are to the lives of those you MEET;
HOW important you can be to people you may never even dream OF.
THERE is something of yourself that you leave at every meeting with another PERSON.

Join the club. No one much wants to talk to me either lol. If you aren't of a mind to try and change then take my word for it - it does get easier to deal with in due course.
