How do some people have such great lives?

I know a few people and everything seems to go their way. They are always constantly doing fun things. They went to good schools and will soon be on their way to good careers they enjoy. They got to move out from the family home at 18, have complete freedom, lots of friends and travel the world over summer breaks. It's rare I get to do many fun things, even things like hanging out with people.

I don't understand how they do it? I know some of them went to grammar schools, so maybe success and confidence was built into them at a young age. Idk...

They work in order to gain their great lives or their great lives just come to them.

It's all about being confident and resilient (the thing is, for people like me it is difficult). Even some rich people, lucky people or perfectly genetic people can have a ****ty life or will have bad luck some day.

It takes all kinds. I'm pretty happy just to live in a place where I have access to clean drinking water, not everybody has that.

I always wonder that too. Why life comes so easily for some, and its nearly impossible for others, like me, to be this way. I have friends who are like that. They generally don't have to many worries about, well, anything. Therefore, it's really hard for someone such as myself with low confidence to be so awesome. haha. At least in my opinion.

I know you don't want to hear it, but that's the way the cookie crumbles. Life likes to even things out, some people will be miserable all their lives meanwhile some people get to have everything hearts desire.

I've always believed that good things happen to bad people. If you want to lead a great life, you gotta be bad. There's no such thing as kharma.

It's called being mentally healthy and being able to take advantage of the great opportunities that exist in developed nations. Its what you and I should be doing, if we weren't burdened by our demons in our heads.

Exactly. I've asked this question countless times and the realistic answer was always among these lines. Nothing short of Random Luck

Hang on for tomorrow, because tomorrow is another day, and it may not be the best, but at least it's not today.

Because they rant afraid to fail or be laughed at. Being carefree makes life fun. I use to wonder the same thing...but I have come to realize I am who I am and if people don't like me for who I am. Their loss. I think I do some fun things...wish I did more but oh well...it's a start.
