Have you tried to talk to anyone at your work?

Although my situation differs slightly, in that I have made 'friends' with people at work and can have conversations, the rollercoaster of emotions you experience during the day/week are nigh on identical to mine - It's quite eerie actually. I'll elaborate further and drop some knowlege when I have a bit more time.

It seems like you do well with the first part of the conversations. After that is more when you have to get creative and think of things to say, which is understandably hard for us. It mainly takes practice to do that.

Yeah there are weeks like that where I just feel like moving away and finding a new job. But i always get hung up on whether I'm leaving to find a better job or because i feel like an outcast.
I do realize i don't start conversations much. I always rely on other people to initiate. The conversations i do start usually wind up being serious and boring. And that just reinforces my negative self image. |
