Ever feel completely invisible?

Maybe it's just me but I could swear sometimes that I actually turn invisible. I get into college and it's like no one notices me. No one. Not even the teachers blink an eye when I walk in. I could shave my hair off and I think I'd still go unnoticed .

Is it just me?

I feel like this most of the time. It makes me feel even lonelier than I already am. It seems as though other people only notice me when they feel like being mean and are looking for a target.

I sometimes feel like people cannot hear me. I think I need to project my voice more.

Ocassionially someone will talk to me or I'll talk to them and I'm always polite. I never really don't get on with people it's just that after our short conversation is over that seems to be it. I dunno, just feel unnoticed I suppose.
I try to meet peoples eyes and smile but most of the time they dont even realise I'm there. I guess a lot of it is to do with how shy I am but it's got to the point where I'm just like a ghost. I really want to be a little louder but it's like my mind just switches off around people.

I know exactly what you mean when you say you get lonely but I don't really get picked on. It's horrible that people feel they can do it to you but some people are like that and I think it's more a reflection of their own insecurities than yours

I too sometimes feel like that in my uni. When I see people several times, or when my mood is beyond that of anyone to understand me.
Unfortunately the source of it is all you, no one else, you have to pull yourself up...well that is how it works for me, each time is different, it's confusing...

Don't worry I'm invisible too, actually I'm surprised an intelligence agency hasn't contacted me yet to become a spy, I'd be so damn effective.

It's usually the opposite with me. No matter where I am or what I'm doing, I often feel as though the whole world's staring at me, judging me for one reason or another.

I feel that way too. It sucks but other times when I'm embarrassed, I feel like everyone is looking. I only want to be looked upon by one person generally.

Same here. I can never get used to more than one person looking at me. Makes me nervous and jittery.

I like being invisible. That means there's no way I can get hurt by someone who might be nice enough to talk to me.
