Ever been told you're "too nice"?
It's not as if I act nice to make people like me, it's just how I am, it's my personality. And I don't let people walk all over me either. So why do people say that? If I turned into a psycho ***** would they be satisfied? |

Many people have commented on me being nice. It's actually a disadvantage sometimes. (imo anyway) The other day my family went on about how nice I am and hope I will never change..
I would think the majority of people who suffer from SA are generally nice because of their extreme shyness. |

Yes, I have been told this a lot of times. It really annoys me. I think I do act nice to try and make people like me, but it's also partly my personality.

alot of times at work people like to kid around, talk bad stuff about other co-workers, rip on people, etc. since i dont do anything that could remotely offend anyone, everyone tells me im "too nice," in a way that makes me think that being nice is bad, that i should go with the crowd.

I'm too "sensitive" is what I get. And it's true. I need to disregard so much of the crap I count as meaningful.

i have been told that sooo many times and it does kinda get on my nerves, but i realized people are saying that about me because i have a tendency to let people use me and do whatever they want. i just dont like confrontation and i want to get along with everyone. i know its just my personality and i do get tired of hearing people say im too nice. if all people in this world were too nice then the world would be a much better place.

Yep...in fact just the other day I was told that. I think "too nice", for me anyways, really means that I'm not truly being myself because the sa makes me act on tippy toes with people because of fear of offending them.
