Does anyone else feel like they can never relax?

I'm talking even with the aid of meditation/relaxation videos or tapes. And there are some pretty good vids like that on youtube. But even when I close my eyes, breathe deeply, and listen I still feel on edge. I just want to be able to calm my body and mind. Does anyone else feel this way?

Yep. It doesn't help when I tellllllllll myself to do so either. I just...subconsciously not relax. It's frustrating.

BlazeLE, that doesn't work unless you smoke weed all day, every day. I smoke every day and when I come down I'm back to the same original me...can't sleep, can't relax, mind racing.

I physically can't smoke all day because I broke as hell and I can't burn and go to a store or something, for example. So it's only a temp fix.

trying to meditate while watching a video is like trying to lose weight by watching a video.

Meditation is something you do, not something you witness. Even with my nervous mind & body, I can get my respiration down to 3 breaths/minute during meditation. (that's real meditation, not YouTube meditation)

I can't either. Even when I have nothing to worry about I'm always nervous about something, thinking about the past or future and the problems that come with it.
