Anyone Starting School Soon? Worried?

Getting back into the swing of things, anxiety fairly high. Anybody else worried about starting school soon or want to vent?

I'm starting school again in September and anxious as hell. I was so anxious in highschool that I just skipped half my classes and barely graduated. Then dropped out of university cause it got to be too much. Been working from home for 6 yrs and at first thought it was great but then realized that it's only hiding my SA and I can't live on an island forever. So I'm going back to university but the fear of failing again and having to talk to people have me really anxious.

Oh my gosh! I am so so nervous about going back to college. On-top of it all, they sent out a card today that i need to get my schedule in order by the 4th. The 4th? That's tomorrow!! I hate going to classes because there is an overload of people who don't want to be there, and they all sort of clan together, and i am stuck being alone, trying to get my education.

I'm not worried about going back to school, but school in general.
I want to go to medical school after high school, but I don't know if I'll be smart enough, have the money, be accepted, etc.
Yes. I am anxious.

haha, you better get working on that then. also, I find that sitting in the very front works well for me, you meet cool people who are interested in learning and are forced to pay attention. i know this can be hard, though, especially for those with sa.

I'm dreading going back. I think the night before the first day of new classes might be one of the worst feelings for me, anxiety-wise.

I have to take a speech class this semester. I don't think I can put into words how frightening that's going to be.

nice, I want to go to medical school too.
since it seems like you are still in high school, here's some advice that might be useful: don't take AP biology or chemistry unless you really want to. Most medical schools don't take AP credits and you will have to take the same exact course again in college. Found out the hard way, haha.

thanks! Sorry how you had to find out the hard way. At least it'll give you the time to brush up on things you had trouble with

@ghostofme
I'm going to do a hearing aid practitioner course. I did 2 yrs previously on a BA and was also thinking of completing that and majoring in psychology or sociology. I think it would help to understand my SA better.

I start my fall semester of college in two weeks. August 24th. I'm taking Mathematical Concepts, Developmental Psychology & Japanese. Three very hard classes.

Needless to say - I'm actually very excited to start them. Especially the Japanese!

My SA has left me disabled and unable to work, but I made over $3,000 dollars from home.

At this point I know what to expect but I am anxious about the workload and stress. I'm honestly just kind of getting sick of dealing with the same things semester after semester. Icebreakers, group work, pairing up, cliques, stuck-up sorority girls, presentations.

I know one day when I'm in the "real world" I'll be kicking myself for feeling this way.

So fill your head with what's important,
and be done with all the rest.

I do not want to go back to high school..I remember all those times when everyone had their own groups and I was just sitting there....alone...for the whole class period..

A song that describes me: Metallica - Invisible Kid

and if I don't belong, who would have guessed it?"
