I record/write my thoughts sometimes because I find it therapeutic. I used to record/write stuff down because I thought I could use it later for reference but I was quick to understand that the mind changes so much with complex ideas and feelings that it's nearly impossible to have a successful reference to refer back to. Still, recording/writing stuff down is definitely good to keep positive and motivated, but it can be a challenge if you want to use it for ideological reference.
With this in mind, my personal dialog would include: 1. I am capable of anything if I put forth the effort to make it happen and look at it as a learning experience. 2. Failure comes with learning, so expect and except it. 3. It only takes small changes in the mind to make a huge difference in all aspects of your life. 4. Repetition, whether successful or not, is a learning experience that brings you closer to a better understanding, which clarifies things. 5. I am an individual and as an individual I am not going to learn, think, or react towards situations the same way others might. Therefore, their progress does not reflect the worth of who I am. 6. Confidence is like repetition in that it is a learning experience. Just because I have low self-esteem now does not mean that low self-esteem is who I am. In truth, I am a human being with low and high self-esteems depending on the situation and how I view it. Esteem and confidence are aspects that aren't absolute in that they can be tuned. 7. Considering SA, fear is typically an extreme and illogical view of something. Even deeper, fear can be viewed as an ignorant/naive state that needs to be further tweaked for positive clarification. After all, fear of people, unless rightfully justified, is unnecessary. 8. The quickest way to learn is to be an active participant both mentally and physically. You can read and meditate all day but unless you learn firsthand from an experience you will only theorize throughout life with no proof that something is true or not. On the other hand, you need to meditate to be mentally prepared for physical experiences. Both mental and physical aspects need to be implemented for best results, and doing both respectively will equate to faster results. 9. People are generally good, decent people. People are intelligent, loving and admirable. Appreciate people for who they are and what they can bring to the world because they bring many great and positive things. 10. Take responsibility for yourself and what you want in life. Everything, whether it be mentally or physically, will come from a sense of responsibility of action. There are routes people choose in life that determine how they feel, view and live their lives. What do YOU want to feel, see, or live? What is it YOU want to accomplish? If you plan for others to change who you are and what you want you will be following something too unpredictable, and these sources can also be unreliable. Although people may encourage you, you are ultimately RESPONSIBLE for all aspects of your life, which also include SA, and SA isn't absolute. |

This is brilliant. Probably what I would generally say myself.
