Default Ways you learn

Does anyone else say things out loud to help learn or keep a thought in your head? I think I do this because I know instinctively that I am an auditory learner. Ex. I was just trying to remember a book title from the web site to the post, so I said it out loud. Also, I've learned that if I hear something and write it down so I can see it, auditory coupled with visual, I will retain the info. longer.

Consequently, I also learn by doing, so that is kinesthetic learning. I'll have to think this over to figure out if one method of learning is better for me than another.

Default

I use all of those. I am a very visual person, but I also need to write things down, the act of writing helps me remember, and then afterward I can picture what i wrote.

I'm quite autodidactic by nature, so I love instructional books with big colour pictures and printed instructions to go with....much like a child's picture book.
