Re: Uncontrollable, compulsive spending

I have a hard time buying even the absolute necessities.
But, I have wasted a lot in ill-fitting clothes because I was too anxious to either try them on at the store or to return them later when they didn't fit.

Every form of happiness is private. Our greatest memories are personal, self-motivated, not to be touched. The things which are sacred or precious to us are the things we withdraw from promiscuous sharing. -- Ayn Rand

The true use of speech is not so much to express our wants as to conceal them. -- Oliver Goldsmith

Experience is the worst teacher; it gives the test before presenting the lesson. -- Vernon Law

Re: Uncontrollable, compulsive spending

i overspend but not beyond my means. i have a lot of things that i havent seen/used/read/played/etc and some are over ten years old. i dont know why i do it but as ive gotten older ive learned to control it somewhat
