Default To those who do drugs and have OCD

I have noticed that whenever I do a drug, whether it be alcohol, marijuana or opium, my compulsions get worse. I make many repetitive movements shortly after consuming these drugs, and then this behavior subsides and I'm fine. I have wondered about this for a long time. Does anyone know why this happens? Is it because of the release of dopamine?
