Default sleep addiction

oh man, i got sleep addiction. this originally started when i couldnt make any friends or relationships cause of sa, got depressed, dropped out of college, and just slept at the parents house to forget everything. I did that for years and now, 5 years later, I got my own place, job, friends, relationship prospects, but the sleep addiction is still there

Ive beaten every addiction Ive ever had: video games, TV, junk food, whining, chat line, youtube.

because its easy for me to do nothing, so all those were easy. but sleep is the ultimate form of doing nothing!!

I wake up at the last minute to go to work, work, come home and sleep and do it again.
this is not good! i got goals, but Im not getting anything done!! its just that sleep is instant pleasure, while goals take time and effort

Well, try setting an alarm. If one doesn't work, try setting many or using the snooze button. If that doesn't work, hmm. You could try changing your hours, going to bed earlier/later, or something along that line. If all else fails, just try to look forward to something the next day. Something you WANT to get up and do, video games, going out to eat, going to see a movie, just find something.

I'm sure you'll get over it

Get lots of light in your room when you don't want to be sleeping.

Hey _AJ_ how did you beat your addictions? Please tell me man!

You see im lso addicted to junk foods, tv, video games and porn.

Porn is the worst of all and I a lot of time is wasted because of it. Well im not really that addicted to junk foods but I want to stop eating it cause its unhealthy and im into body building(still amateur but I go to the gym). Playing video games is a time waster too cause you actually do other things that are more productive such as learning a new skill or talent..

I used laziness to stop doing them

too lazy to go out and get junk, too lazy to go out and get new games

Are you sure it's not a medical problem, like chronic fatigue? Maybe the doctor can do something for you. It might not be laziness!
