I try and fail every day. Well, sometimes I have to wait an extra day.

Hah, well done Richard. It's always an achievement to fight against your urges and addictions and overcome them.

..But I'm gonna stick to watching pr0n. I'm not addicted. No, really. I get bored of it quickly.

Ugh. Take an SSRI. All the joys of porn will slowly fade...

Alright, we now have a group for fellow sufferers of this addiction to seek comfort and support. Know you are not alone in this terrible, terrible affliction.

Wow. I learned in this thread that people actually spend even an hour watching porn. Do you watch the story play out and all? I wouldn't have that kind of patience.

I FAILED...
Whenever I'm alone at home I can't help myself.

I'm not an expert or anything... but whenever I watch porn I'm thinking "this is nice, but there has to be something even better", so I search for more. It takes up a lot of time when I have nothing else to do.
But during the week, when I'm otherwise preoccupied, I don't look at porn at all, so I don't think I'm in danger of becoming addicted.

Whenever I'm home alone I have to watch porn.
If I had friends, a girlfriend, and a social life I would not have the urge to view porn. As a matter of fact I'm home alone at this very moment. Damn my hormones!

i think you would still get the urge, people whose lives are pretty well-balanced still feel the urge and watch it regularly. might be different if you were in a relationship but even so sometimes for various reasons (e.g. lack of time together) you might not be completely satisfied and still feel the urge.
so these urges are perfectly natural for everyone, no matter their life circumstances but porn can become a bad habit understandably. unless it's too personal, what is it about watching it that triggers the guilt? why exactly do you want to quit the habit?
if it has to do with watching real people engage in sexual activities, then maybe you can try replacing it with written erotica which describe pretty much the same type of scenarios you see in porn, or (some people are really into this stuff but i personally am not) hentai, since it's animation basically and not real people. (i hope i'm not going into too much detail about this, mods, just trying to help out)

[QUOTE=Socially Anxious;1110430]Try to find something better to do with your time. Porn isn't healthy.[/QUOTE

Possibly??? But did you know Porn/Masturbation can also be a natural cure for nasea. Fisherman have used porn/masturbation for centuries as a tried and true all natural cure for sea-sickness...

Even after the invention of sea sickness pills, among many, masturbation is still the preferred method of alleviating its symptoms...

For sea sickness pills may alleviate the symptoms of sea sickness, but they also make a fisherman sleepy, and on the pitching deck of a boat, in 20 foot seas, with two ton crab pots moving about, your death, or worse, causing the death of your mate, is one wrong move away.... and being alert, is thought of more, than being chaste
