Just curious what someone more well-informed than me thinks of the Cato Institute. They consider themselves pro-liberty (aka reasonable libertarians), but for some reason I remember them being conservative. I might be mixing them up with someone else. How would you describe their political views?

From what I've seen of them I like the Cato Institute. I remember watching John Stossel (of 20/20, who is a libertarian) giving a speech at some anniversary celebration for the Cato Institute.

I don't know if I'd agree with them 100% since I don't know all their views, but I like what I have heard of them.
