Default Obama to sign Copenhagen Climate Treaty mid December 2009 (here it comes)

For those that don't know, this Copenhagen Climate Treaty is all about redistriution of wealth, namely all of the more wealthy nations including the US, UK and such. But the word out there is this treaty is also supposed to override our own Constitution, meaning no free speech, no right to bear arms. And if the US ever replaces Obama the US still can't sign out of the treaty without the okay of the rest of the signing members, and they being poorboyz will not allow their richest nation being the US to just leave.

If I was a redneck living in the south with an accent and a confederate flag mounted on my wall, this is about where I would probably yell, "Long live the Republic, death to the new world order!" then encourage everyone to continue to stock up on weapons, ammunition and prepare for war - I may have to agree.

Discuss!

There was a program known as the Kyoto protocol that was enacted in 1997 that was pretty much the same thing. The U.S. never officially followed it because of the costs, and because there was basically no real way to enforce it on anyone else. It was basically run on an honor system and we never were officially involved in it.

Now copy pasting from wikipedia
On 25 July 1997, before the Kyoto Protocol was finalized (although it had been fully negotiated, and a penultimate draft was finished), the U.S. Senate unanimously passed by a 95–0 vote the Byrd-Hagel Resolution (S. Res. 9,[66][67] which stated the sense of the Senate was that the United States should not be a signatory to any protocol that did not include binding targets and timetables for developing nations as well as industrialized nations or "would result in serious harm to the economy of the United States".

The Copenhagen treaty is a successor to the Kyoto protocol. Basically the senate would have to approve of our involvement for there to be any real action and if there is any crazy costs involved we won't have any part of it. Even if Obama signed it, it wouldnt mean anything, the Senate would have to ratify it, and even then we would self enforce, who else could make us do anything?

I think whats going to happen is no one will follow it and it will cost too much so we will ignore it just like last time.

As far as us losing our constitutional rights or sovereignthy or whatever, that is complete and utter BS. No one could ever take our rights away, and no president could ever sign it away 'just like that'. Its so crazy, I can't believe people actually believe it. All this kind of talk is just more false slander to try to make Obama look bad.

Also Lord Christopher Monckton is a psycho conspiracy theorist, much like Lyndon La Rouch and his cult.

I have no problem redistributing the wealth of oil companies and coal power companies to develop cleaner power sources.

This will lead to the next generation of energy production. Either more local renewable power (which if done right has only a one time cost instead of monthly fees), or something like fusion power plants will be economically viable. Oh no, it might cost us some money.

lol I don't know about that

Al Gore's term of "global governance" which he used during his speech at Oxford earlier this year regarding how to bring about change in climate control probably sounds a little prettier. Over the years I think "new world order" has lost its actual meaning and became primarily more associated with crazy conspiracy theorists who believe politicians are being controlled by aliens or something.

By definition it simply means, "any new or alternative global social or political organization or system", and a treaty forcefully pulling down the economies of nations to build others up with the ultimate goal of having all nations be financially equal under one system of government is exactly that, a new world of order.

I don't believe in conspiracy theories at all, however I will believe a treaty exists with the intentions of creating a one world government and putting the planet under a socialistic and communistic state only if a treaty is written that says a one world government will be created and put the planet under a socialistic and communistic state and then become available to read online for myself, which one coincidentally has.

Again, here's a copy of the treaty so you can check it out for yourself.

(a) The government will be ruled by the COP with the support of a new subsidiary body o

(b) The Convention’s financial mechanism will include a multilateral climate change fund
including five windows: (a) an Adaptation window, (b) a Compensation window, to address loss and damage from climate change impacts, including insurance, rehabilitation and compensatory components, (c) a Technology window; (d) a Mitigation window; and (e) a REDD window, to support a multi-phases process for positive forest incentives relating to REDD actions.

(c) The Convention’s facilitative mechanism will include: (a) work programmes for
adaptation and mitigation; (b) a long-term REDD process; (c) a short-term technology
action plan; (d) an expert group on adaptation established by the subsidiary body on
adaptation, and expert groups on mitigation, technologies and on monitoring, reporting
and verification; and (e) an international registry for the monitoring, reporting and
verification of compliance of emission reduction commitments, and the transfer of
technical and financial resources from developed countries to developing countries. The
secretariat will provide technical and administrative support, including a new centre for
information exchange.
The COP is the Conference of the Parties and is made up of almost 200 countries' leadership who ratified the United Nations Framework Climate Change Convention in early 90's, including the US and and UK.

Default copenhagen

The highly regarded Lord Moncton has no dog in this fight. As a scientist he has merely spoken out in opposition to bad science. He's just convinced, like most western people; that climate change, officially downgraded from global warming, is a hoax. Consequently, he has no choice but to deduce that sinister political forces are at play here.

I doubt anything will happen and, if it does, who didn't see it coming?

I wasn't aware that two revolvers qualified as an arsenal. That fact that I defend gun rights doesn't mean that I have more weapons than I can even remember. I defend free speech even though I have yet to burn a flag and defend abortion rights as well despite my total lack of a uterus.
