Default Does the Swine Flu (H1N1) Vaccine skepticism annoy you ?

Humans are hypocrits.

We complain to health officials that a vaccine is not forth coming. We hear the growing # of cases, and grumble that a vaccine won't be made until 6 months.
A vaccine is made before 6 months , and now we are all to skeptical to try it.

Americans boast of their patriotism; yet nobody seems to accept the sacrifice of the hundreds of people who this vaccine has been tested on. Instead we want 1000 more human-guinea pigs to be tested before we take the shot.

This is exactly like people that after an uneventful hurricane season- say " I boarded-up my house for noffing, wii, I buy all that extra food, and nothing happened. "

The fact is, you could cover your house, and a huge tree falls on it. You could go into your basement, and find yourself locked in. You could board up your house, buy 6 days worth of food, and the storm bypasses your house.

But I am sure you will all agree, that to NOT take any precaution to protect your family from an oncoming hurricane or tornado .. is extremely unwise.
