Well you have to ask yourself who doesn't want marijuana to be legalized? Then you have to ask yourself if those who don't want it to be legalized are the same people who can have influence over whats aired on these networks.

Those ads from MPP (Marijana Policy Project) look just fine to me. They're not graphic in any way and are simply testimonials from two medical marijuana patients stating how the med has worked very well for them.
Marijuana has a very bad image it seems. Some months back I got a snail mail from MPP asking me to join & donate, having gotten my name from sending some pre-written letters using the advocacy section of their site to contact my elected officials. They promised in the letter that any correspondence from them would only say "MPP" and would never say anything to suggest it had to do with marijuana. So unless you knew what MPP was anyone who saw that envelope would never know the "dirty" secret that you support medicinal marijuana. I think that fact shows that a large enough segment of society deems it so dirty that even some supporters of MPP will only support MPP if their support remains a secret. It's not dirty to me. I will publicly state: I fully support medical marijuana. This is the polar opposite of NRA mailings that most certainly don't hide what they're about. I can assure you they don't hide their monthly copy of American Rifleman in any sort of wrapper to keep folks from knowing you're a gun enthusiast.

Especially not in questions to politicians such as "Have you ever used any drugs?"
Oddly, F. James Sensenbrenner Jr, my US Rep, has failed to respond to two messages from me asking if he's ever used any illegal drugs. For some reason it seems they don't like to discuss their own past drug use, even though they so love to enforce laws that they obviously broke in decades past. I strongly suggest that all of you ask your elected officials if they've ever broken any drug laws.
