I been watching some videos on You Tube regarding Dan Quayle. I forgot about this bozo. I am glad we only had to put up with him for 4 years. If he ever becomes President I am running north into Canada screaming.

The first one is the 1988 VP debates when Dan was comparing himself to Jack Kennedy and Lloyld Bentsen telling he is not Jack Kennedy:

Why dredge up Dan Quayle? We get enough bloopers out of the current administration.

That was fun. I remember the Bentsen hit. The best part of the exchange was "the gulp" as Quayle saw the throwdown coming. Note Bentsen's reaction as he waits for Quayle to finish the Kennedy comparison.

An interesting note about the incident... I read in the paper that Quayle had practiced the Kennedy comparison line in a mock debate while preparing for the real debate. Quayle had been warned he was going to get burned if he made the comparison, but of course he went ahead anyway.
