Get off your high horse, odun. You spend so much time looking for offensiveness any time anything remotely religious is brought up that you completely missed the point of the cartoon. It was brilliant. It wasn't anti-religion in the slightest. Franken was making the point that supply-side economics are not only harmful, but also not Christian in the slightest. If anything, Christianity and Jesus himself come out smelling like roses in this cartoon.

I think that the basic tenets of Christianity aren't rocket science or esoteric. By reading that cartoon, one can clearly see that Al Franken knows what they are. His status as a comedian has nothing to do with his ability to know this information or not.
