Default What type of meds for this?

What's the best medication to take if I wanted something that would allow me to maybe act in a play. I would want something to take away the physical symptoms of anxiety, so that my real emotions would get in the way of portraying the characters emotions.

sounds like you want something for stage fright. I believe Inderal/Prophanlol? is what you are looking for. Sorry, I can't spell if my life depended on it

Propranolol alleviates physical symptoms of anxiety and can actually improve your performance quite a bit. I remember taking it for a solo in high school that normally I would botch; the medication made me absolutely nail the solo. It was like it wasn't me playing. Highly recommend it.

Beta blockers (such as propanolol) allieviate the physical symptoms of anxiety, but benzos can also help, depending on the type and dosage. I don't have beta blockers, so when I have a performance, I take a higher dosage of Xanax.

i took clonidine...it worked super well to reduce sweating/fast heartbeat/all the physical and even alot of the mental symptoms of anxiety. its similiar to beta blockers, it reduces noradrenaline levels in the brain and body.
