Tramadol did nothing for me, but hydrocodone does a nice job for me except that it can make me vomit.
Nuerontin sounds interesting. My top three:

Note, I haven't tried much medications like some here.
1. clonazepam. It's subtle yes. The sedative effects disappear quickly but the anxiolotic effects remain somehow. The good thing that benzo's are sustainable for me and don't read the horror stories. It's also the only benzo I've tried. 2. Ritalin (with klonopin especially) --- I have a love hate relationship with this med. The initial effects are so good but the crash is crap. I get headaches when I use more than 10mg at once etc. Insomnia and chest pain. 3.Probably natural supplements.. (Rhodiola , 5-htp, SJW, Magnesium, taurine and many more other supplements and herbs). Other stuff that I won't use again. Also Alpha / beta blockers work for me (it really calms me down!) but I don't like it because I also exercise. This medication doesn't sound healthy with exercise. Alcohol. This extremely powerful drug work for many people. The side effects aren't worth it. The short half life combined with the hangover. Desoxypipradrol (Do not try this it kept me awake for days and it's far too dangerous) I used something like 15 mg and later I read you should not start with 1 mg or so. It worked for the first day. The then hell began. From what I've read the mechanism of Desxoy is almost the same as ritalin (both are NDRI'S with 50 percent re uptake for NE and 50 percent for DA) I have many more stuff to try (selegiline (I tried this for 1 week without good effects) and other stuff but I don't use them long enough I think) |

Ehem, my top 3 favorites are Amphetamines, Amphetamines, and uhhhhhhh oh yeah! AMPHETAMINES!!!!!
if I had to go with 2 others it would be: Benzos: for its availability, its convenience, and its usefulness to take the edge off for when I took to many amphetamines. Alcohol pretty much is right there along with it. Opiates: Hydrocodone, Opium tea, oxy(didn't like it that much), and codeine. Out of all of those Hydro is my fav. Haven't tried tramadol yet, but I'm not sure if it would be what I'm looking for, mainly because I take opiates for when I'm on a comedown from stims and I heard tramadol shouldn't be taken with amps for risk of seizure. I don't take opiates all that often for fear of addiction and having happen to me what happened to China. btw: ssri's can lick my sack... |

Can we make a petition to legalize amphetamines. They are less harmful than ciggies and alcohol. Please. WE CAN.

Dude, I was telling my friend the other day that they should not only legalize amphetamines, but the government should also provide them to EVERY citizen. I'm pretty sure ever human being can benefit from amps, at least functionally. Of course, there would be some a-holes who would do stupid things like start fights while on amps, those people will get their right taken away.

They also give amphetamines to soldiers and pilots etcetera AFAIK.
Another thing that makes me wonder is why they say 'people that do not suffer from ADHD cannot use amphetamines because it's unfair for other people that really have ADHD (performance wise)' What the heck?

Tramadol isn't good for anxiety, it's good for mood elevation that's it. However this is my own personal experience so it probably will be different for each person.
