For those who have successfully stopped Nardil medication, what was your withdrawal process and experience like? Did I taper off too quickly? Is Nardil's short half-life an issue when it comes to withdrawal? I really don't want to hurt myself again, but it feels like I need to check myself in before I do so. |

Why did you stop Nardil? Did it help for your SA?

You could say that about any antidepressant though, but sometimes you don't have a choice. The three times I've stopped an antidepressant it's been cold turkey. Zoloft due to intolerable side effects, Remeron after a NDE started to cause paradoxal effects, and Effexor after it made me suicidal.
