Social Anxiety Support

My psychiatrist started me on Lexapro. I was kind of hesitant, but he told me to start at a very low dose (5 mg). He said to split the pill, because I have the 10 mg samples...I know this is a dumb question, but how do I do this? Do I just use a knife?

The Lexapro 10mg pills are ALREADY scored for easy breaking with your plain fingers and thumbs.
