Default Klonopin helps pain?

Can Klonopin help pain? I took 1mg an hour ago. Slept for an hour, woke up and now i feel sorta high and really relaxed. I also feel alot less pain throughout my body.

It tends to relax muscles.

If you ever do something crazy like just stop taking it for a day you end up feeling really sore, its kind of strange.

Muscle relaxant effect would be my guess as well. I personally have never noticed this effect, but then I don't have muscle spasms, so perhaps one doesn't notice it so much in that case.

I know Valium is used as a muscle relaxant. I'm not sure how other benzos compare in terms of muscle relaxant effect.

Yeah. My mom is on this stuff... and then some. I'm glad you posted the side effects of coming off it, Lupus. That might explain why she is addicted to pain killers.
