Default Has citalopram mad anyone sleepy?

I slept for a couple of hours yesterday which was weird because I didn't wake up early at all. Also does 10mgs seem like a normal amount?

It made me NOT sleep and I had to use my ambien script occasionally. I only took celexa for a few months and got off it.

I was once on citalopram, and I think the usual starting dose is 20mg. So 10mg is on the low side.

It did make me tired - like most of the SSRIs I've tried. And I would get into the habit of taking naps after work.

My latest one had been escitalopram - and again it made me tired and lethargic, and I was on the lowest dose possible. (half a pill)

I've since stopped all SSRIs, but I'm having a hard time coming out of the tired/unmotivated mode. Lack of exercise is driving this. If I could motivate myself to start and keep that up, it would help.

How long have you been on it?

Huh. It amazes me how different people react so differently to various medications.

I did find my quality of sleep suffered.

I've been taking it for a little over a week. I started last Friday.

I had to take a nap nearly every afternoon on citalopram.

All I did was sleep when I was on celexa. Most nights i was in bed at like 8! I'm naturally a night owl, for example I'm writing this at 12:30 and probably won't be asleep for another hour or so lol.
