i know it's only been a week and not long enough for the paxil to give it's full effects, but i think that it's working very nicely with the buspar. the buspar on it's own didn't help me very much at all, but the two together seem to be a dynamic duo. fingers crossed it holds up!!!

hope all continues well
many say buspar on its own is useless but it may make an antidepressant work better

maybe it was a placebo effect that made me feel better, but i'm not feeling so much better now. i also realize that it takes awhile for the paxil to get to it's full effect. hopefully, once the paxil kicks in fully, i'll feel better. but right now i want to go back into my cave. the klonopin is the only thing keeping me from crawling under the covers and hiding completely. thank god for klonopin

I took paxil by itself for 8 years. It was really good. It was mostly for depression, but it worked for my social anxiety too. The only problems are that it wore off over the years so wasn't as effective, it killed my sex drive, and it was quite hard to come off. But none of those things would have stopped me taking it, because I had some of the best years of my life thanks to that drug.
