Default Cymbalta

My doctor prescribed this for my Generalized Anxiety. Was wondering if others have used it?

I did briefly, and I (mostly) liked it. I was more social, at least it seemed.

I was on Cymbalta for depression, although I had anxiety. Cymbalta may have worked a tiny bit on my anxiety, but I was still a nervous wreck. Others have had better results. I have since switched to Lexapro (which is better for my depression) and added Buspar for anxiety. No word on how effective buspar is, I just started taking it.

I take cymbalta for anxiety/mild depression. It works for me, and really seems to keep my anxiety down.
What mg did the dr. start you on?

It took awhile for it to get rid of my anxiety. I gave up on it several times, and kept going back to it. Now, the difference is amazing, for me anyways. I have heard coming off of it can be rough, but I guess I'll deal with that when the time comes.
It made me really tired at first, but now it doesn't at all.
What mg are you taking, bignate? I was unable to take the 60mg at first because it made me too shaky, so my dr. changed me to 30. I have stayed there for the last few months, and I think I can go back up to 60 now, if I need to. Going back down to 30 made a huge difference for me.
I am worried about weight gain. I haven't had any so far, and my appetite hasn't increased, but I am worried that it might from reading other people's experiences out there.

I'm on 30 mg too. I read that there are only 3 different doses/mgs.: 20, 30, and 60. Is that true? Anyone who takes more ?
