Default Can you split Paxil 40mg?

My doctor recommended me to dose up to 60mg, but she gave me 40mg pills. There isn't an indent on the pill- I thought you shouldn't split those?

Yes, you can split them.

The only drugs you shouldn't split are extended release formulations where being fully intact is needed for them to be extended release.
I wonder what reason I have to live
Desperately I have searched for a meaning
Is it now time for me to let go of the world
