Another Zoloft Question...

First off, I took Paxil 25mg CR for about a month. She then tapered me slowly from 25mg to 10 mg, to nothing. I have been on nothing for 4 days. Then on the 4th day of not being on Paxil(yesterday), I was started on Zoloft 50mg. I know that SSRI's take a while to work, but since I was already taking an SSRI, will the Zoloft kick in quicker this time?

it should but if the paxil showed no signs of helping then I dont think the zoloft will help either as they are both very similar
get the zoloft dose up after a while and if no help, try some other type of antidepressant med next

If the Paxil didn't work, it probably won't make a difference in how long it takes for the Zoloft to work. 50mg of Zoloft is a small dose. Give it time and if it helps at all, you can go up quite a bit.
