Default Agomelatine + Afobazol combo

What do you think of this combination ? I've read some good comments and reviews about Agomelatine/Afobazol on the agomelatine psychonauts group. It seems to be very effective in treating SA and depression, without any side effects.

I would like to start taking venlafaxine (75 - 150mg) + trazodone 150mg(for a night) + agomelatine and later I want to add afobazol(3 times per day).

Then, I have oxazepam as 3 times per day + some tablets of inderal for my anxiety.

What do you think, is it safe combo and useful for my social anxiety ?

thanks.

Just like i tolled you on bluelight it is NOT safe! Afobazol is a MAOA inhibitor and could cause serotonin syndrome in combination with a SSRI/SNRI.

I dont know the doses, the regular prescribed ones will be fine. As long you dont add in the afobazol.

Agomelatine and trazodone together would be redundant. Both are 5-HT2C antagonists. You only need one or the other. I'd recommend the former personally.

yeah...and trazodone is LAMEE. trazodone made my SA and OCD alot worse, especially during the day. with Trazodone, i dont really see the point, saying that it has an extremely short half life and will only be in the system mostly at night...but apparently it helps some people, so ya. id definitely go with agomelatine before trazodone.

I am currently on 75 mgs of Venlafaxine(Alventa), 150mgs of trazodone(Trittico) for sleep and 10mgs of Oxazepam a day.

i know that Afobazol is a MAOA inhibitor but is it possible to combine afo(at any dose?) with a low dose of 75mg of venlafaxine ? Is it safe to combine MAOI inhibitor and SSRI/SNRI together in low dose ? What dose of afo can i take together with venlafaxine and trazodone to avoid unpleasant effects ?

agomelatine probably is not a good idea with my trazodone(trittico).

Its not safe at all, and lowering the doses of both will result in both not working without any positive effect at all.

It's not as black and white as that; while MAOI + SSRI/SNRI combination can be deadly, I've heard of very low dose combination of reuptake inhibitor and MAOI. But it isn't generally a good idea at all.
