He had an interesting contribution to make (not saying I agreed with it all, but even so). Yet all his posts are gone, the thread he started appears to be gone (I thought it was impossible for a regular user to delete hir thread) and his name's not on the members list.

So, banned? But usually when somebody's banned, you can still find hir, just with "permanently/temporarily banned" as the staus.

Or did he delete his profile and all his posts?

Or am I missing something?

He was a member who was using a duplicate account to bypass a temporary ban. He is now banned permanently.
