Well it's kind of annoying in forums when people respond to one of your comments you left...and you wouldn't know. Like you'd like to respond back to that person but you can't. So i would like that, like at least put it in our "notifications" or email us letting us know that we have a reply to our message that we posted in a forum.

Under the Thread tools at the top of each thread you can choose to subscribe to the thread. You can then choose to be notified by Email for the thread.

But, all my posts are stored on my profile, if I want to know if someone responded to my comment, all I do is click the comment on "my posts" and it takes me to that part of the forum where I last commented.

That works well enough for me

Also, you can set to be notified by default here:

Look for "Default Thread Subscription Mode" under "Messaging & Notification"

You can set it to "Instant email notification"
