you can tell the person that he was abusive and talk to him/her.

but...
You can change the settings, if you don't want to accept private messages
click on options
a box will appear and
uncheck the box that says "accept private message"

You can forward abusive PMs to anyone one the staff and we can take care of it.

When their time is up they may come back. They will have to behave themselves or temporary bans can become permanent.
