Is the chat room specifically monitored or are violations only looked into when reported?

Both, but we can't always be there, so it's great if you guys can help out and let us know when you see anything.

The chat should not be used for discussion of sexually explicit matters.

There are people who use it as a lifeline for their mental condition, myself included, and there are plenty of adult chat rooms out there to ply one's perverted fantasies.

The ladies in the chat room are not there to be abused. They are extremely tolerant of above discussions but that should not be regarded as an invitation to push the limits.

What I saw earlier was outright barbarism.

If you want to deal with a lady without social protocol getting in the way hire the services of a hooker or visit aforementioned adult chat rooms. I am extremely ashamed of my gender purely because people I refer to in this post are not able to act in a manner befitting their obvious intelligence, instead deliberately seeking to provoke and abuse just because they can, for their own entertainment.

Have a heart for people who treat this as their sanctuary, or hope to before they see the kind of people that pollute this place!

yeah, I would say focus more on the guys who actually do something. I have used inappropriate language, I know, but thats nothing compared to some of the perverted stuff that goes on.

Well, report what you guys see - possibly provide a transcript with a date and time. We can match it up to logs and take care of business.

Attached is the current standard of chat - people who harrass and bully are entitled to claim their own right of what's that term? Oh yes, "freedom of speech".

Right and you might want to take a look at these two lines below.

While the defendants in my points above are entitled to share their own perspective I believe that right to be null and void given their obvious ill-intentions.

I believe that I did took some form of vigilante action but ultimately, it's up to the admins on this site to decide if the social anxiety chat would perform its designed function as a support measure.

Without the people who appear to enjoy exploiting others' tolerance for their own personal entertainment and worming out of it by feigned ignorance.

The line in chat3.gif was repeated multple times over that session. As no one called him a pervert why so defensive? Oh of course, it is to cover up for the fact that he was acting like a crazed animal the previous day. Obviously very perverted.

For this instance, I have not taken any action, but I did step in chat to lay down the law.
If it continues, the infractions will be unleashed.

I think in the future these kinds of pm convos should be more for the moderators to see instead of the viewing public.

We do receive PMs for the majority of the issues - they do not need to publicized.

My previous way of handling things has obviously not worked, so I will need to be more direct. I have asked the other moderators to help me with kicking people out of chat. Beyond that, the appropriate warning/infraction will be filed automatically. I have been spending too much time catering to people who are not going to listen.

Its no wonder i'm afraid of chat rooms. Its none of my business really, but from what i've heard on the forums, theres alot of nonsense being said in the chat rooms.

Alot of inappropriate stuff. Just like real life

But what can be done? Alot of people think its fine to have "free speech".
Theres a difference between free speech, and abusive language!
