I've made it so the Biography and Hobbies fields can be longer. Feel free to post any suggestions for other About Me fields.

So has the new site brought more members or is it still too early to tell?

So far there has been a bit of a bump in traffic and a drop in bounce rate (people leaving after viewing just one page), but I expect to see significant changes over a longer time period.

Any update on the PM issue? My inbox is still full of only messages I've sent, none I received.

I think that might be it as well. I think when people don't have to log in to see most of the forums, it discourages them from posting something because they get that window shopper mentality.

I think what happens is you see a post and want to comment but you're not logged in or maybe not even registered so you just blow it off. Having to login to read takes that situation away.
Originally those forums were all open. We had a huge lurker following and when we closed them most of those registered. If you login to read the odds go up that you will post. Results were more people registering and more people posting.
Also, there is almost nothing in those forums about SA. From a SEO standpoint I suspect having those posts indexed does more harm than good but don't quote me on that.

I was sent a pm and I dont have the option to scroll over to see the rest of the text. I had to copy and paste it onto wordpad in hopes that it would show up. I also don't have the option to even reply to the message since the reply button is hidden.

?

The Reply button should be in the bottom right corner of the message.

Are you over your PM quota?

I know where it is. It won't let me scroll over to click it. There is no scroll bar at the bottom of the page.
No I'm not over my quota.

I don't know what to say. There's no reason a scroll bar shouldn't be appearing at the bottom of the screen.

Do you know what version of internet explorer it is? (Click Help->About)

Can you get a scroll bar to appear on any pages on SAS?

If you purposely make the browser really narrow in width does a scroll bar appear on any other pages, like the homepage?
