Default Mod and Guideline Forum Question

Having never used this forum until today, I guess I was unclear on how this works.

If one is unable to view one's post and subsequent replies after one submits it, how does one know what the progress, if any, is on the subject at hand? I understand it was to give some privacy to these threads but if the person who posts it cannot even view it, how does it work? Is it just to vent?

So how is it different from just a regular PM?

Have a nice day,

It gives us a forum to discuss the issue and to decide what action is required.

Sounds likes another attempt to censor reasonable complaints members have about moderation guidelines. Why isn't transparenecy in this site?

I am begining to feel that the "powers that be" FORGET the fact; It is WE the members that make SAS. Without us, SAS would die like the Webcrawler search engine.

I am not trying to cause controversy because I love this site, but if you want to see the site grow; you can't just keep shuttting down member input and running the site behind closed doors..

We don't shut down member input. There are things we discuss that are administrative, you know, management kind of stuff. There is never anything you would have to worry about. Discussions haven't been that numerous anyway.

While I certainly understand your concern about it happening behind the scenes, more positive has come out of having the forum as we have discussed issues brought up by members.
