I've noticed that it has sometimes been very slow in the last couple weeks. But then other times it works just fine. If SAS is being super slow I try other sites to see how quickly they load and it seems the problem is confined to SAS. Right now it's working just fine.

Ya it works fine now. I did tired other sites and it load pretty fast compared to here. But now it's ok =/

Definitely let me know if the site gets to be very very slow. It's best if you can give me the time and day that it was the case.

I am alerted if the site actually goes down, but not if it's just slow.

Slowdown at 2:45 pm EDST.

Was running fine and then pages slowed to a crawl. I'm using Google Chrome which usually loads pretty fast.

That's exactly when the nightly backups are being done. It's the couple minutes it takes to do the dump of the database.

At around that time at night there is a slowdown as nightly backups are done.

The slowdown starts at 1 AM and seems to last for close to an hour. It's rather unfortunate since this is the only time I really have to peruse the forums and each page takes more than a minute to load. Is there any possibility of starting the maintenance a couple of hours later?

I noticed an extreme slowdown this morning. It would be about 4:00am EDST. I assumed it was during a database backup.

That's when I noticed it today too. It was just after 10:00 a.m. I was eating breakfast.

Yah, it happens at 1am PDT. It shouldn't last more than 10 or 15 minutes. I'll try to see what's causing it to take longer.
