Can anyone tell me why "invisible mode" doesn't work? I have ticked the appropriate box in the "edit options" part of the profile, yet my name appears in the currently active users list at the bottom of the page.

According to the edit options page, "Invisible mode allows you to browse the forums without appearing in the 'Currently Active Users' lists".

It shows you at the bottom of the list, but only to you and the moderators. See the asterisk beside your name in that list?

Right now it shows you as being offline to me.

If you are "invisible" You can still see yourself. How else do you expect to know where you are?.

We mods see you as online, but like Njodis said, with the star in the listing, and a red dot on your status, as opposed to green for the "visibilities"

That may be obvious to you, but not to me. The old board didn't show the name at the bottom of the page and another board I've seen doesn't either.
