Default Should I feel bad about this?

In 7th grade there was this kid who might have had SA like I did. I always saw him because he was around my locker. He'd always get picked on by this one bully in the hallway. Pushed him about, dropped his books, ect.

One day the bully did something to him, I didn't catch what exactly, but he made the kid cry. Everyone stared at him or giggled. I was very furious seeing this because I could relate to the same thing in 5th grade.

I waited for the bully to walk home after school. The field was empty so I put on a ski mask I found in the closet, walked up and clocked him in the nose. I told him leave the kid alone.

After that he left him alone and luckily I was never caught.

But I never knew if I should have felt good about this. I mean yeah, I suppose I stopped a kid from being bullied from someone. But I did something terribly violent which is just against what I do...

I know it's stupid to be bothered by something this long ago, but I just don't know. What do you think?

Video games do not make people violent. Lag does.

I wouldn't feel bad. No one else cared enough to do anything about it. You probably saved that kid a lot of grief.

You did the right thing. That bully was probably making that kids daily life a living hell. You should be proud that you acted to stop the abuse when others didn't. It is a strong possibility that bullying like that will lead to suicide or far worse violence than a punch in the nose. You may have saved the kids life.

You saved the kid from being tortured. You don't need credit, I'm sure he appreciates what you did. What goes around comes around!
